About Getting to Sapanca
Public transport: the Ada Express regional train runs between Istanbul and Arifiye and calls at Sapanca (check TCDD for times; the high-speed YHT does not stop at Sapanca), and intercity coaches serve Sapanca and Kartepe. Private: a car or a transfer arranged by your hotel takes about 1½–2 hours via the motorway; leave early to beat the traffic at weekends.
