About Hürrem Sultan Hamamı

Mimar Sinan built this double bathhouse in 1556 for Hürrem Sultan, wife of Süleyman the Magnificent, on the square between Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. After a long restoration it reopened as a luxurious hammam, with separate sections for men and women under its domes.
