About Getting to Bursa
Public transport: fast ferries cross the Sea of Marmara from Istanbul (İDO from Yenikapı; BUDO also runs to the Bursa coast), then a bus or taxi takes you into the city; check the operators for timetables. Intercity coaches run from Istanbul’s bus stations. Private: a car or transfer takes about 2–3 hours via the Osmangazi Bridge over the Gulf of İzmit. In Bursa, the gondola starts at Teferrüç.
