About Getting to Edirne
Public transport: intercity coaches run frequently from Istanbul’s bus stations, about 2½–3 hours. The new high-speed line to Edirne and the Bulgarian border opened its Çerkezköy–Kapıkule section in October 2026; the link into Istanbul is expected in 2027–28, so check TCDD for current trains. Private: about 2½–3 hours by car or transfer on the motorway.
